Your college journey starts here — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Whether you’re a high school student preparing for college or a current college student working toward graduation, Peer Coaches at Let’s Get Ready (LGR) are here to support you every step of the way.

Through personalized, text-based coaching, you’ll connect with a near-peer college student coach who understands your journey and can help you stay on track, answer questions, and provide encouragement when you need it most.

What can LGR help you with?

As an LGR student, you’ll have access to free support designed to help you reach your college goals, including:

  • Personalized coaching and encouragement from a currently enrolled college student

  • Goal-setting and accountability support to help you stay focused and make progress

  • College application and enrollment guidance to help you navigate important decisions

  • Finding support when challenges come up to help you build skills, connect to resources, and persist toward graduation

  • Figuring out your next steps with a current college student who has been in your shoes — whether you’re applying to college, choosing a school, registering for classes, or planning your path forward

Let’s Get Ready supports students who are:

  • High school juniors and seniors preparing for college
  • Recent high school graduates transitioning to college
  • Current college students working toward completing their degree
  • Students referred through one of our partner organization

Let’s Get Ready does not make application decisions based on current or past academic records.

Application Timeline

Let’s Get Ready reviews applications on a rolling basis and eligible students are admitted on a first come, first-serve basis. We encourage you to apply early.

LGR Access Program: High School Juniors ℅ 2028

Current High School Juniors or a student earning a GED. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from October 2026-March 2027.

LGR Access Program: High School Seniors ℅ 2027

Current High School Seniors or a student earning a GED. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from September 2026-March 2027.

LGR Success Program: College Students

If you have already graduated from high school or earned a GED. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from September 2026-March 2027.
