This year, Let’s Get Ready (LGR) celebrates 25 years of supporting more than 50,000 students across the country gain access to college and earn a degree through our near-peer mentorship model. To commemorate this special milestone, our community gathered for a memorable 25th Anniversary Celebration at Tribeca Rooftop on Thursday, June 15th where we honored our student leaders and longtime champions, and raised funds in support of LGR’s vision to close the opportunity gap for young people pursuing a college degree.

Our model is rich and unique because we leverage technology to amplify the voices and expertise of high school and college students who are empowered to elevate one another, persist in college, and ignite change in their communities. LGR students graduate from college at DOUBLE THE RATE of their peers because of this investment in their leadership and futures.
Over 250 guests celebrated with us in NYC on Thursday – #THANKYOU to all! Attendees had the opportunity to interact with students, alumni, and staff and connect with a cadre of leaders who believe in the power of investing in the next generation! We are most grateful to all who have been a part of these past 25 years and we invite new friends, partners, and investors to be part of our next 25 years!
In commemoration of our 25th Anniversary, LGR’s Founder, Jeannie Rosenthal, awarded three outstanding people in our community with the Founder’s Legacy Award for their unwavering commitment to Let’s Get Ready and students pursuing higher education across the country.
