Work with us as a College Student
Volunteer Opportunities for College Students
Access Coaches are on the frontlines of educational justice as a teacher, role model, and mentor. As a Coach, you will impart vital skills and techniques that high school students from disadvantaged circumstances will use to conquer the SAT and college application process. You may concentrate on the SAT’s math section, verbal sections, or both, and will directly instruct groups of approximately 5 students for at least three hours per week (plus one hour of prep). Becoming a Coach is a great way to “pay it forward” and help students in whose shoes you once walked.
We are currently accepting applications for our summer programs.
Transition Coaches help students with the final steps of their college and financial aid applications, then continue to provide mentorship and guidance to the students once they are admitted. As a Transition Coach, you will be providing remote and at times in-person mentoring to high school seniors for approximately six hours per week, including assistance with financial aid and award forms and summer tasks such as course registration and health forms. This position is the perfect fit for those who do not live near an Access Program to make an impact.
