Engage on socials

Participating in our social media by viewing, reacting, commenting, and sharing content from our YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook is a great way to help spread the word about our work. These actions can garner support and educate the public about Let’s Get Ready.

Donate stock

Donating stocks allows you to avoid the capital gains tax and if you itemize deductions, you can also take a charitable deduction for the entire donation amount. We’ve invested in this secure online tool that enables you to donate your appreciated assets in 10 minutes. Learn more and get started.

Donate from IRA

If you are 70.5 or older and have a traditional IRA, you can use this secure online tool to make a donation from your IRA account. IRA gifts are generally not recognized as taxable income and if you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) this year, giving from your IRA is a compassionate way to fulfill it. Using this online tool, you can learn more and fill out the forms from your IRA custodian in just a few minutes, or print out the forms to fill them out offline.

Corporate giving and matching

Many corporations have matching gift programs for nonprofits like Let’s Get Ready. It’s an easy way to double, or even triple, the impact of your personal contribution! Ask your human resources department for details and any necessary forms. To set up a matching donations campaign, contact Development at giving@letsgetready.org.

Many investment firms offer Donor-advised fund (DAF) programs, like Fidelity Charitable or Vanguard Charitable, as a way to make tax-deductible contributions in the form of money, traded assets like stock, or even illiquid assets like real estate.
